Children and Family Photography
Whether your family is growing, you want to celebrate your little one's milestone, or just want to update the family images on the wall, a family or children' session will provide you with some treasured memories and lots of fun. Creating heirloom pieces of art to last a lifetime, these images will capture you and your family perfectly - at your absolute best!
Your Session
~ When to book?
Children's and family portrait sessions are available throughout the year either in the studio or on location. At seasonal times I'll offer my signature 'Mini' shoots, but for the extra special styled shoot all to yourself in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, my Fine art Family sessions are
~ Where does your session take place?
Your session will take place in my beautiful new, fully equipped studio, located in the incredible Historic Dockyard, Chatham Maritime, Kent or on location around north Kent. I have some beautiful spots that create create some incredible imagery.
~ How long does a session last?
Each session is 1 hour long, with mini sessions being 20 minutes.
~Whats should I wear?
Anything you feel comfortable in, I always advise to coordinate with each other and pick a neutral colour scheme for you clothes. Avoid T-shirts with slogans or characters as these will date images quickly, but otherwise anything goes - For those extra special shots, dress lie you were attending a wedding or party.
~ What happens during the session?
Either in my studio or on location, I'll direct you in some simple poses, and gather both individual children's shots and some family images during the full sessions.
Mini shoots are usually for a limited number of children or groups only due to time constraints.
~How many people can come along?
Full family sessions are open to up to 6-8 people usually including children, parents, and grandparents. Please bear in mind in this instance group shots will be carried out and individual portraits if time allows.
Mini shoots are for a single family only or children only where specified. Large groups cannot be accommodated in these sessions.
~After your session?
Once your session is over, your images journey isn't over. I'll personally ensure all of your images are artistically edited and finished in my signature style, perfecting around 20-30 of the images that I select as the absolute best, so you can be assured of the highest quality from your session.
You will then be invited back to your viewing session around two weeks later to view your gallery and select your favourite images. You will be able to choose from one of my print and digital collections and have the option to purchase stunning wall art, albums and any any other image products you wish.
You'll find that all of my specially selected Fine art products come only from professional labs and selected artisan suppliers that are not available to purchase online.
Pricing
Fine Art Family Portrait Session
1 hr | £95 - payable at the time of booking and is removed from the cost of your chosen 'Collection'
Your session includes:
~ A 1 hour photographic session
~ Use of the studio or travel to a mutually agreed location
~ Images fully artistically edited in my signature style
~ A gallery of images from your shoot to choose from
~ In person viewing session
~ Max 8 people per shoot.
Please note no images are included in the session fee - all products and images are available at your viewing session, when you can select your 'Collection' - see below.
Super Hero sessions
1 hr | £95 - payable at the time of booking and is removed from the cost of your chosen 'Collection'
Whether your child wants to be Spider man or Harry Potter, Wonder Woman or an Astronaut, these magical sessions as perfect for creating incredible wall art for a childs room, or simply making their dreams come true.
Your session includes:
~ A 1 hour photographic session
~ Up to 3 seperate costume/theme changes
~ Use of the studio or travel to a mutually agreed location - Studio is advised
~ Images fully artistically edited in to create works of digital art with full effects to make dreams come true
~ A gallery of images from your shoot
~ Your favourite image supplied as a large Print
Please note no images are included in the session fee - all products and images are available at your viewing session, when you can select your 'Collection' - see below.
These sessions are NOT suitable for babies under 1 year old. Session price is per child
Magical Portrait sessions
1 hr | £95 - payable at the time of booking and is removed from the cost of your chosen 'Collection'
Come along to the studio and create something truly magical, to make your little one's imagination come alive and create a world of the dreams. Whether it's a fairy princess, or woodland imp, these sessions bring their fantasy's to life.
Your session includes:
~ A 1 hour photographic session
~ Use of the studio and props, florals and backdrops
~ Up to 3 seperate costume/theme changes
~ Use of dresses and costumes if required - selected items only.
~ Images fully artistically edited in to create works of digital art with full effects to make dreams come true
~ A gallery of images from your shoot
~ Your favourite image supplied as a large Print

These sessions are NOT suitable for babies under 1 year old. Session price is per child
Signature sessions - seasonal
20 mins | from £95 - payable at the time of booking - Upgrade options available
These exclusive shorter sessions are available on a very limited basis, on selected dates only, and take advantage of a carefully selected location or particular season - for example Blossom Season.
Your session includes:
~ 20 minute photo-shoot on location (weather permitting) or in the studio
~ One to one professional photography
~ A gallery of images to choose from
~ All images edited in my signature style
~ Minimum 5 high resolution images of your choice - supplied via download only - upgrades available
~Max 6 people per session unless otherwise stated
Please note your session does not include any printed images. All extra Images, prints and products are available to purchase after your session at additional cost. These sessions are NOT suitable for newborn photography, babies must be held by parents or be able to sit unaided.
Collections
Your session fee of £95*, taken at the time of booking, includes all of the above as well as my time and expertise to create some truly beautiful portraits of your baby or family.
This fee is then deducted from your chosen package.
After your session please choose from one of the following Collections.
